What the owner sees

Open your phone at 8am and already know the night.

Most owners find out how the hotel did by calling the manager. You will have read it before you called.

One screen for the whole group, or any one hotel

Money in, occupancy, average rate, profit — and underneath, where the money came from and where it went. Change the period or the property at the top; every number on the screen follows.

The average rate here is shown net of OTA commission, not gross. A booking at ₹1,150 on MakeMyTrip is ₹943 in your bank, and the screen says so — because that is the number you compare a walk-in against.

The morning mail, whether or not anything happened

One mail a day: which rates moved, what they were, what they became, and whether the channels took the new price. A spreadsheet is attached with every move, date by date.

400 rates moved yesterday
Biggest move ₹3,750 → ₹4,550 · Durga Puja, 18 Oct · Smart Stay, Deluxe
144 rates are still waiting to reach the channels. They go out at 8, 12, 4 and 8.

A quiet day is not a broken system

This is the part most software gets wrong. If nothing moved, you get the mail anyway — and it names the reason for each hotel: the switch is off, a room type has no minimum rate, or every date is simply already where it should be.

Silence and failure look identical from outside. You should never have to guess which one you are living in.

The attached spreadsheet colours every move up and down, flags a date that went up and came back, and has a sheet per hotel — so "why did nothing move at Raj Palace" has an answer in one click.

Counts worth a second look

Not accusations. Counts — with the name of whoever wrote the line, so you can ask.

Owner watch
7bookings written below tariff this month — with who wrote each one
3one phone number booking under several different names
12rooms let at a rate under the floor you setmoney
0bills with kitchen items added after checkoutclean
These are counts, not conclusions. The system never accuses anybody — it shows you the line and who wrote it.

Every screen in the system also writes an audit line: who did what, when, from where. Nobody — including you — can delete one.

Reports you would otherwise build in Excel

Any period you ask for

Today, yesterday, this week, month, quarter, financial year, or two dates you pick. Every figure recomputes, including last year's same period.

Night by night, not lump sum

A three-night stay is one night on each of three days. Room nights, food and collections each sit on the day they actually happened.

Against your target

Set a monthly target per hotel. The screen says how far along you are, how many days are left, and what you need per day to get there.

Per property, per channel

Which hotel earned what, from which source, at what average rate after commission.

Expenses, categorised

Where every rupee went, by head, with the share and the change on last period.
